Davidson’s has collaborated with Smith & Wesson to reintroduce the Model 940 revolver. The original Model 940 was introduced in 1991 and produced through 1998. Similar in appearance to the 640, the 940 used moon clips to load and extract rounds from the five-shot cylinder. Davidson’s 9mm Model 940 brings this excellent concealed-carry double-action revolver back with some modern improvements and aesthetics. A concealed hammer helps create a snag-free design essential to concealed carry. The barrel, small J-Frame and cylinder’s stainless-steel finish are complimented by VZ Diamond Black Cherry grips. The grips themselves are contoured to allow the use of the included moon clips. A serrated U-notch rear sight is paired with an XS Tritium night sight up front.
