Ruger MAX-9 Luger 9mm Pistol has all the features of a full-sized Luger 9mm in a size that fits comfortably in a waistband or pocket holster for everyday carry. Measures 6 inches with a slide width of less than 1 inch. Weighs 18.4 ounces. Striker-fired pistol is built on a precision-machined, rigid aluminum fire control chassis and fitted with a durable through-hardened steel slide and hammer-forged 3.2-inch barrel. Standard models have an intuitive thumb safety that operates similarly to those found on 1911-style pistols. Pro models available without the external safety lever. All feature an integrated trigger safety and a loaded chamber viewport for visual confirmation of a cartridge in the chamber. Comes with a tritium fiber optic day/night front sight; also ready for direct mounting of co-witnessed JPoint™ and Shield-pattern micro red dot sights. Ten-round magazine fits in the medium-textured grip; 12-round magazine offers 12+1 capacity and also extends the grip.
