.17 Win Super Mag is the first rimfire cartridge to deliver devastating performance on small game and predators at well past 200 yards, depositing more than 150 percent more energy than other high-speed rimfire cartridges like the .22 Win Mag and the .17 HMR. With 3,000 feet a second muzzle velocity, there also is far less bullet drop and wind drift. Offered in three bullets: 20-grain plastic tip Varmint HV®; 25-grain plastic tip Varmint HE®; and 20-grain jacketed hollow point Super-X®. Priced competitively with other high-performance rimfire cartridges, in 50-round boxes and 1,000-round cases. Winchester (U.S. Repeating Arms) and Savage are both chambering rifles for the new round. Royal Purple Gun Oil

Royal Purple Gun Oil cleans and protects with a proprietary additive called Synerlec® and a blend of light solvents. Synerlec protects against the metal-to-metal contact guns experience when firing heavy loads repeatedly at the range or in the field; the solvents lightly clean the firearm. Can be used in place of a separate cleaner and lubricant. Leaves a long-lasting film that protects against corrosion, reducing the chances of fouling and improving overall firearm performance and also longevity. Contact: Royal Purple Gun Oil, Dept.
